What is your Name, how Old are You, where are You from?

My name is Martina Pletz, I am 22 years old and come from Styria. I came to Hagenberg to study Medical and Bioinformatics.

How Did You Become Aware of RISC Software?

If you study in Hagenberg, it is difficult not to notice RISC Software GmbH. RISC Software GmbH is always represented at FH Next, a career fair at FH Hagenberg. After a very interesting conversation with the representatives, I applied directly for a summer internship, which I completed last summer. Since I liked it very much, I am currently working here again in my professional internship.

In which Department Were You Working and What Were your Tasks?

I worked in the Medical Informatics department and worked on an exciting project with ECG data. I researched and developed models to be able to perform patient recognition based on ECG data. These models can be used in the future to evaluate sensor quality.

How Did You Experience your Work Environment?

I found the working environment at RISC Software GmbH to be very good. I appreciate the opportunity to freely manage my time and find my own way to solve problems. I could always turn to everyone else in the office with questions, which was very beneficial for the internship.

Will You Continue Working at RISC Software GmbH?

Yes, I am very happy to work here even after my internship.
