focusing on “Medical Image Analysis and AI Simulation”

A unique challenge awaits you in the research department Medical Informatics . You will help shape the future of medicine in research and customer projects.

Your Mission

Development of innovative solutions for the analysis of radiological image data and the simulation of biomechanical processes in the human body
Research and implementation of novel methods in areas such as image segmentation, registration, anomaly detection, and numerical & AI-based simulation (deep surrogates)
Publication of results at scientific conferences or in journals
Participation in the acquisition and implementation of research and customer projects

Your Profile

Completed technical degree (e.g., computer science, AI, physics, mathematics, …)
Experience with deep learning and software development in Python
Interest in the implementation of scalable software solutions for image processing and simulation
Interest in modern frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, VTK, ITK, Unity, CUDA, Qt, …
Interest in visualization in virtual and augmented reality
Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with medical professionals
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
Good to very good knowledge of German and English
