What is your Name, how Old are You, where are You from?

My name is Abd Alrahman El-Hamaoui, I am 22 years old and I am from Linz. I am currently studying Computer Science at JKU Linz.

How Did You Become Aware of RISC Software?

I became aware of RISC Software at the career fair at JKU. There, I had the opportunity to get to know the company a little better. Since I am very interested in software development and wanted to gain practical experience alongside my studies, the possibility of an internship at RISC Software immediately appealed to me.

In which Department Were You Working and What Were your Tasks?

During my internship, I was in the DSA department and had the opportunity to contribute to a real client project for KraftCom. I primarily worked on a web application and implemented the dashboard as well as various other functions.

I found it particularly exciting to get to know the daily work in software development and to see how a real client project is implemented and further developed within a team.

How Did You Experience your Work Environment?

I found the work environment to be very pleasant. I was warmly welcomed from the beginning and felt very comfortable in the team. If I had questions, I could always ask someone, but at the same time, I also had enough freedom to work independently. I particularly liked that the interaction among colleagues was very straightforward and pleasant.

Will You Continue Working at RISC Software GmbH?

I could very well imagine doing another internship at RISC Software during my studies. I really enjoyed the work and the team, and I would like to gain even more practical experience. If the opportunity arises later, I could also imagine continuing to work at RISC Software after my studies.
